We have spent over 20 years growing an ample variety of organic citrus fruits, whilst preserving our awareness and responsibility to the environment.
The espinosa vega family lineage
If we owe the origin of this company and its philosophy of life to anyone, it is to the Espinosa Vega family, great farmers and stockbreeders who were 100% committed to the work they carried out in the Guadalhorce Valley.
Our seeds saw the light for the first time
From our beginnings, we focused on organic production as a real alternative to maintaining our family citrus fruit production, combining the most traditional methods with the latest advances in the sector.
The organic certificate that took us to germany
Although today we have many more, obtaining that first organic certificate allowed us to open up to Europe and make our first export of clementines and mandarins to the German market, the main European consumer of organic products.
Packaging enters our lives
In the heart of one of our farms, we inaugurated the first facilities dedicated to the packaging of our field products, an added value created exclusively by and for our customers.
Salut, France
After our success in Germany, we ventured to make the leap to the French market, one of the fastest growing and most developed in the sector today.
We go to Huelva
We opted for the cultivation of extra early clementines and late mandarins in San Bartolomé, Isla Cristina and Cartaya so that our geographical diversity could offer our clients a wide production calendar. Objective achieved.
As big as the retail chains
The organic sector had developed mainly in the independent and gourmet segment, but when the major retail chains increased the assortment of organic products on their shelves, we expanded again, this time into the mass retail segment.
More technology, more capacity, more coolness
We gave even more life and importance to our portfolio of packaging formats. The MAF RODA POMONA grading machine greatly increased our packinghouse productivity and ensured the regularity our customers needed and, not only that, but we also increased our cooling capacity.
We continue the expansion into other european markets
We are present in Germany and France, which remain the benchmark in terms of overall European market volume, but in the last 5 years we are also celebrating the great increase we are experiencing in other markets in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
Changes for the best: Canada, the Middle East and our branding
One of the most important steps we took in the organic sector was when we started exporting by sea to the Canadian and Middle Eastern markets. Our brand image deserved to reach the mark, and that is why we developed the one you find today, much more aligned with the growth our company has experienced, our product, its quality and our commitment to the environment.
20.000m2 for the new packinghouse
We began a project for our new packinghouse in order to increase production capacity, improve operational efficiency and meet the demand of new markets.
This is us
