We know how important it is to take care of the whole process our products go through. That is why in 2004 we created our own packing house in the heart of one of our farm in Malaga. An added value in which we have not ceased to innovate in order to continue to evolve and be at the forefront of the latest advances in technology, as you will see below, with the sole aim of improving the quality and freshness with which our products reach the end consumer from the field. And all this without neglecting care for the environment, which is a great challenge for us. But what would life be without these challenges that make the world a better place?
MAF RODA AGROBOTIC POMONA MAF grading machine
Equipped with the latest colour and diameter sensors, this automatic system allows for greater precision in fruit selection. A grader that, in addition to allowing multi-product sizing, ideal for our wide range of organic citrus fruits, meets all the quality standards required by each of our customers, which is crucial in challenging export markets, where these aspects of the fruit are key for the consumer. In addition, the latest upgrade features dual-spectrum cameras that even detect possible lemon rot.
MAF RODA AGROBOTIC FREEWAY MAF grading machine
An automatic system specially designed for grading product lines such as mandarins and leaf clementines with a professionalised adaptation of the washing, drying and transport processes for this very exclusive type of packaging.
Packed in GIRSACK and CORBATA
Automatic thermosealing packaging system (with handle or clipped bags) with the capacity to make up to 10 packaging formats with an average of 36 bags per minute, an autonomy of over 2 hours without replenishing consumables, a choice of different weight options per bag (250gr – 2.5kg) and adaptable to a wide range of sizes according to the different characteristics of the fruit.
80% of our production is destined for supermarkets and large distribution chains, but we adapt to our more traditional customers defined by a more specialised segmentation, with the same affection. Both are an essential part of Vegaverde, they are our “raison d’être” and our motivation for each of the objectives we set ourselves in our day-to-day work as a company. The fact that we export our products to Europe, North America and even the Arab Emirates will never prevent us from adapting and treating each customer with the same exclusivity and care with which we have been doing so for over 20 years.
